When I learned about Kids In Distress, Inc. (KID), I was immediately drawn to their mission. As a nationally accredited organization dedicated to preventing child abuse, preserving families, and treating children who have been abused and neglected, KID is making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable kids and families. I was particularly impressed by their commitment to providing high-quality care and services, and I knew that I wanted to help them in any way that I could. As a designer, I proposed a colorful, fun, and simple brand identity for KID that I think exemplifies their mission. The goal was to create an aesthetic that would appeal to kids and families, while also conveying the seriousness of the issue of child abuse. I hope that it will help KID continue to make a positive impact in the lives of those they serve.
